]]> In keeping with the unique energy, passion and spirit of the World Cup, this morning we welcomed a replica of the World Cup trophy to our campus.

For the duration of The FIFA World Cup, Qatar 2022 our trophy will be flying from class to class, visiting two classrooms/offices per day, as even the real on goes on a royal parade of all qualifying nations prior to the start.

Match report by Mr Brandon, Head of IG.

Mascots from FS1 accompanied teams on to the field at this term’s secondary ( years 7-12 ) football final.
With the tie deadlocked 1-1 at full time the final was faced with the excitement and drama of penalties.
Controversy followed as the school VAR and referee deeming some of the penalty kicks worthy of retakes.
Y11 eventually came out winners.
The game itself did not live up to its billing as both teams underperformed. Goals from Mohamed Khaled (Y11) and  Zeyad Negum (Y10B) had livened up proceedings after  a tense and nervous start by both teams.
Man of the match went to Mostafa Amr of Y10B who made a number of brilliant saves to keep his side in the game.
However, the occasion was memorable for the youngest students in the school standing alongside the oldest in a spirit of harmony and cooperation.
